Why: We are fundraising for the incredible Performing Hearts Theatre to put on their first ever production... "Please can we do something different" at Glen Street Theatre on March the 2nd at 1pm and 7pm.
Cost: $20.00 a ticket per person - includes a beverage (1 standard drink wine/beer, none alcoholic options available), finger food and prizes to be won!
"Please, can we do something different?" is the result of months of hard work. Every performer was involved in each and every aspect: from initial ideas, script writing and devising. Our starting point was the discussion of the lived experiences of some of the performers and other beautiful clients at St Ives Lifestyles and what they would change about their world.
Our aim is to bring awareness to some of the challenges that people living with a disability face and share their stories, not for your pity, but for your understanding. Disability is not the problem, the world is.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will receive a tax receipt via email. Together we can make a difference!
